NEW HOTEL BOOKING PROCEDURES

If you plan on staying overnight in Colorado Springs, your team is required to book hotel rooms using the tournament housing service in order to participate in the PPI.

(Please understand that hotel commissions help offset our venue costs at the Air Force Academy, which are approximately $9,000 per day.)

Each team must designate one person to be its Housing Manager.

Hotels will not be able to accept multiple reservations requests; however, hotels will be able to accommodate individual charges for rooms at check-in.

Hotels are also prohibited from accepting reservations from 3rd party booking services, such as corporate accounts or travel agencies. Teams or individuals who by pass these procedures will have to re-book through the Tournament Housing Service.

The PPI is entirely web-based. As a result it is critical that we have accurate email addresses for your team contacts. Please make sure the persons listed are committed to checking their email on a daily basis as all announcements and communications will be directed to them.

TWO OPTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

(1) We will accept mail-in registrations. ALL MAILED REGISTRATIONS MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN JULY 1. Your packet must contain the following items: Photocopy of front of each player pass [several may be put on one page]; TWO copies of your roster and guest player roster, if applicable; copy of your travel papers, if applicable; photocopy of medical release forms for each player. ROSTERS WILL BE FROZEN when received by Tournament Director. All teams who mail in their registrations may pick up their approved rosters at PPI Tournament Headquarters, USAFA Soccer Stadium Press Box prior to their first match.

Your packet may be sent byu UPS, FedEx or regular mail to Marty Mankamyer, Director, 8470 Red Spring Valley Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80919.

(2) There will nre two registration nights at our host hotel, Homewood Suites, 9136 Explorer Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80920/ For U15-U19. registration will be Sunday, July 13 from 4:00-7:00 pm. For U11-U14 teams, registration will be Wednesday, July 16, from 5:00-8:00 pm.

There will be no on-site registration.

EAL LISTS
January 01, 2008
The Air Force Academy is again requesting that we have all persons who are planning on attending the PPI enter their names on the Entry Access List forms. Players and coaches do NOT need to use this list because we will have their names on the rosters.

In the event the security level should change, peole whose names are on the Entry Access List would still be allowed through the gates to attend the PPI. All others would be denied access.

Each family can make their own entries from this page.
